Everyday NhanSense – Day 84

Everyday NhanSense: Each day, I will blog about something that comes to mind. My goal is to practice writing about my hobbies, my interests, my opinions and so forth.

Day 84’s Topic: Catching up.
——————————————————————————————————————————————–
Gosh, sorry for the delay with this particular post. I had a busy night, didn’t come home until late and had to work in the morning. Not really a lot of ample time to blog appropriately. I will try not to make this a habit.

Nonetheless, I’ll balance this out.

Anyway, it was a good Friday for me. I had a decent day at work, ran a few errands, walked out in the sunshine (the spring weather around this town is gorgeous by the way) and won the card tournament I participated in as icing on the cake.

Pretty sweet, if you ask me.

Not only that, I am finally starting to develop a grasp about what I need to do to overcome a lot of my problems.

This is … I just need to be me.

That’s it. No secret. But I should elaborate.

I guess for years I have been so darn confused about how I should approach my random “faults” as a person. I kept thinking people just didn’t like me for being me. But in reality, I shouldn’t try too hard to change certain aspects about my personality.

They are in fact my quirks. They are what define me, as geeky or socially awkward as they may be.

I need to stop caring so much, or at least until I can find that happy medium between changing stuff I should (like exercising more frequently) versus keeping stuff the same (my social habits) while being honest about it all.
